Every year on October 2, Gandhi Jayanti is observed to honour the great leader Mahatma Gandhi, without whom India might not now be free from British rule. Millions of people were brought together by his nonviolent methods to adhere to the ‘Ahimsa’ path and protest against the evil oppression. India has declared October 2 to be a national holiday, but people all across the world participate in gandhi jayanti speeches, plays, community services and write gandhi jayanti essays to mark the day.
Gandhi shikshan bhavan celebrated a cultural program on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd of October.
On 2nd of octerber 2022 Dr. Rajan walukar sir was invited to celebrate gandhi jayanti. Dr. Rajan Welukar, is an eminent academician, former vice-chancellor of the University of Mumbai, Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University and G H Raisoni University. He Compiled and edited, Gandhi@150 which explores the relevance of Mahatma Gandhi’s ideas in today’s world and the impact of his philosophy across a wide spectrum of areas such as religion, economics, science, education, the arts and health and development. He inspired and motivated us and all given lots of information of Mahatama Gandhi ji. He also given the information about his book Gandhi@150. Nowadays it is very important to uplift the values and ideas of Gandhi among all the students as well as teachers.
